About Us
Lightweight and high-strength structural innovation
The core advantage of hollow plate lies in its unique honeycomb or grid-like structure design, through the regular distribution of air cavities, in order to ensure the mechanical properties of the premise to significantly reduce the density of the material (usually 0.4-0.7 g/cm³), the weight of only 30%-50% of the weight of the solid plate.
This feature makes it has a significant advantage in logistics and transportation, automobile manufacturing and other fields. For example, the empty box weight of the hollow plate crate is 60% -70% lighter than the traditional wooden box, but can withstand forklift crushing and stacking pressure (dynamic load of up to 500kg / ㎡), vertical bending strength of up to 30-50MPa, close to the performance of aluminum alloy. At the same time, the hollow structure gives it excellent impact resistance and energy absorption ability, and it can still maintain toughness and avoid brittle cracks under extreme temperatures from -40℃ to 80℃.
This combination of lightweight and high strength not only reduces transportation energy consumption and operating costs, but also broadens its application in weight-sensitive industrial scenarios such as drone fuselages and battery trays for new energy vehicles.
Multi-functional adaptation and customization potential
The multifunctional characteristics of hollow plate come from the modifiable and processing flexibility of the material. Through the co-extrusion process, anti-UV agent, flame retardant or carbon fiber can be added to the PP, PE substrate to achieve UV protection (outdoor 5-10 years without yellowing), fire prevention (UL94 V-0 grade) or anti-static (surface resistance 106-109Ω) and other special features, to meet the demanding needs of the electronics, military and other industries.
Its surface supports laminating, printing, heat embossing and other treatments, such as advertising panels can be coated with high-gloss film to enhance the texture, and agricultural seedling trays can be pressed with permeable holes to optimize drainage. In addition, the hollow plate can be quickly customized through laser cutting, ultrasonic welding and other processes for shaped structures, such as ±0.2mm slot precision for precision instrumentation cards, or hinged design for collapsible crates.
This highly customizable capability makes it accurately adapt to diversified scenarios such as cold chain insulation box, smart home shell, photovoltaic backplane, etc., and become a cross-industry general “flexible solution”.
Environmental protection and life cycle economy
The environmental advantages of hollow plates run through the whole cycle of production, use and recycling. Its raw materials are 100% recyclable thermoplastic (such as PP, PE), waste can be recycled, carbon emissions are reduced by more than 50% compared with wood processing, in line with the EU RoHS, China's "double carbon" and other environmental protection policies. Taking the logistics turnover box as an example, a single box is recycled more than 200 times, the life of 5-8 years, the comprehensive cost is only 1/10 of the carton, and it is maintenance-free and easy to clean (water can be washed). In the construction sector, hollow panel enclosures replace wood materials to reduce forest consumption while achieving reuse through modular disassembly. From an economic point of view, although the initial cost is slightly higher, its long life and low losses (such as loss prevention rate of 90% lower than foam lining) significantly reduce long-term expenses. With the development of new materials such as bio-based PP and degradable PLA, hollow boards are being upgraded from "recyclable" to "zero-carbon closed loop" and become a key carrier of the green supply chain.
